Michele Cotumaccio

3rd Grade Mentor

Michele has been in the education field for over ten years, teaching in a variety of settings such as special education, public, and faith-based schools. She’s worked with students from 1st grade through high school and her love for Jesus and teaching has led her to Innovate Academy.  She strives to encourage the core values of respect, responsibility, self-control, and kindness in the classroom. 

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Cabrini College, and her Master’s in Education from Slippery Rock University. During the summer months Michele spends her time as a camp counselor, summer school teacher, drama director, and tutor.

Growing up in Media, PA where she currently resides, Michele has love for the arts and has been a dancer since she was three years old. For fun Michele dances, enjoys theatre, going to the beach and hanging out with her nieces, nephew and family.
